Invoice Simple is Now on monday.com — Meet Easy Invoice

The team behind Invoice Simple (used by millions of small businesses) brings the same invoicing experience natively into monday.com — under the name Easy Invoice.

monday.com invoice-simple launch invoicing

If you’ve ever used Invoice Simple on your phone, on the web, or as a small-business owner sending your first ever invoice, the document editor inside Easy Invoice will feel familiar. That’s because it’s built by the same team — and rebuilt natively for monday.com.

Why this matters

Invoicing is the kind of tool where the obvious-looking decisions matter most. Does the line-item editor add a row when you press Enter, or do you have to click? Does the tax checkbox apply per-line or per-document? Does the PDF actually look like what you saw on screen? Get these wrong and the customer-facing document is a bad reflection on your business — and you waste hours every month chasing details.

Invoice Simple has spent over a decade making those obvious-looking decisions work. Easy Invoice carries that experience directly into monday.com: the document editor, the line-item logic, the tax model, the PDF layout — all built by the team that’s been refining them for years.

What’s the same as Invoice Simple

If you’re coming from Invoice Simple’s web or mobile app, here’s what carries across:

  • Document-style editor. What you see on screen is exactly what the PDF will look like — no separate “preview” mode.
  • Line-item logic. Per-line tax toggle, automatic recalculation as you type, predictable Tab/Enter navigation.
  • Single-currency tax model. One rate, one label (you pick — GST / VAT / Tax / Sales Tax / whatever your jurisdiction uses), applied to the lines you mark taxable.
  • PDF generation in your browser. Your data never leaves your machine to become a PDF.
  • Mobile parity. The same workflow on phone as on desktop — see invoicing on your phone.

What’s new on monday.com

The interesting part is what monday adds that the Invoice Simple web app couldn’t on its own:

  • Customers come from your boards. You don’t maintain a separate customer list — Easy Invoice reads your monday.com Customers board, so the same contacts power your CRM, your project work, and your invoicing.
  • Products come from your boards. Same idea — your Items board doubles as your product catalog.
  • Status workflow on a board. Invoices live as items on a monday board with proper status groups (Draft / Sent / Overdue / Paid), so they integrate with the rest of your monday automations and dashboards.
  • One-click quote-to-invoice. Approved quotes convert directly into draft invoices with everything carried over.
  • Free to install from the marketplace. No separate Invoice Simple subscription required.

What’s different

Two things to know if you’re an Invoice Simple power user:

  • Tax model is single-rate per document. Set your default rate and label in Settings; toggle per-line on/off as needed. There’s no per-jurisdiction tax engine — that’s still where Invoice Simple’s standalone web app has more depth.
  • No client-side invoice payment processing. Easy Invoice generates the document and the share link; it doesn’t take Stripe or PayPal payments through monday today.
